If there is one club which gave the America football in Minnesota recognition and name that is remembered with love, it is the Minnesota Vikings based in the city of Minneapolis. A team that has remained active for decades, from the time prior to the commencement of the Super Bowls, dating back to the 1960s, Minnesota Vikings has maintained its name ever since and given every reason to the state to take pride in the team. It has and still plays in the Northern Division of the National Football Conference which in the National Football League and has the statistics which shoes that it has been a champion at the National Football League once, and have ranked number one team in the division as it has won it for a breathtaking sixteen times. But despite its success at the national level as well as division level, it has always been unsuccessful in the four Super Bowls it had taken part in.

Since the establishment of the Minnesota Vikings in the year 1961, the team has always been on the rise under the supervision of many coaches, each of whom had left indelible mark on the performance of the club as a whole and shaped it with their hands so that through the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s, it could hold on to its prestigious position and see the face of success at every game. Some of these coaches who contributed selflessly to the cause of the team were Norm Van Brocklin, Bud Grant, Jerry Burns, Dennis Green and Brad Childress.
The Minnesota Vikings had been extremely successful in the home games which it had played in the Metropolitan Stadium during the 1981 NFL season and thereafter at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. Every summer they hold their training camps at the Minnesota State University, where they prepare themselves for the upcoming season. The Viking's Logo, Viking Horn, Helga Hats and the mascot of the Ragnar makes the Minnesota Vikings easily recognizable by any one around the globe.
