The state of Minnesota is also known as "The Land of 10,000 Lakes" . World's most amazing lakes are located here. However, the northern part of Minnesota has the most amazing lakes in the world. The Boundary Waters Canoe Area is also found in this region of Minnesota. There are various kind of Minnesota lakes, some of which are specially meant for fishing purposes. The wonderful fishing lakes of Minnesota include Lake Mile Lacs, Lake of the Woods, Lake Vermilion and Leech Lake. Battle Lake: One of the main activity enjoyed in this area in fishing. Though the number of fishes available in this lake have decreased in number a lot. But still this practice is seen in a random scale. The variety of lakes found in this lake is amazing. In addition to the variety of fishes, the beauty of Battle Lake deserves a special mention.

Mankato Area Lake: This is another place famous for fishing activity in Minnesota. Various people come here to spend beautiful hours, by fishing in the lake or simply gazing at the beautiful lake.
